talking about stripes

did we talk about stripes yet? i don't think so, but we should have acutally. each spring it is the same old love story - me and stripes. maybe it is because stripes remind me of sailoring ergo freedom and good times? or because i love the fact that they look sporty, classy and casual in a retro sort of way? above i mixed my jcrew shirt with some old boyfriend jeans and even older chucks. below you see jessie, who paired her beautiful blazer with a classy shirt and dark jeans - quite fancy. last but not least my new bikini - my next beach stay (which is to come veryyyy soon) is gonna be perfection (at least when it comes to the outfit)! aaaaaand - before you go and check your wardrobe for stripes: don't forget to ad at least something red - it can be nailpolish or as you see the lining of jessies blazer (check out her blog by the way). as always: it's all in the detail. another addition: those who follow me on instagram (still not so many) already know these pictures - for the rest of you: outinsight_blogspot.

i instantly fell in love with the editorial shot by alex freund for gravure. alyona sabbotina looks fabulous but for me this shooting is all about the light - it captures the atmosphere perfectly.

remember: smooth fabrics and leather are the THE mix of the season as we learned at the s/s shows 12. here a beautiful exampel from the streets. definitely something to go for this spring.

again a label that was already last year at blickfang in basel. but who cares? the shoes still look fantastic. and i was told they were comfortable as well.

my new clutch

in berlin i always shop at cos. i love the simple yet special cuts, the good material and the fair prizes. this time i purchased among other things this clutch out of genuine leather. i'm already looking forward to the moment, where it starts looking used, makes it even more beautiful.

new in

as you probably know i always keep looking for new nail polish colours but till now i only got one trendy colour for spring and summer. recently a friend gave me those two splendid colours as a present! aren't they perfect for a hot summer day? maybe i will mix and match them...i'll keep you posted, that's for sure.

which ones to get?

i told you already about the last salon vintage at salomes yoga studio. what i haven't told you yet, is how difficult it can be to choose some shoes. my friend annika couldn't decide which pair she should get... i would have loved to buy one pair for myself, but unfortunately both were way too small for me...if not, i would have got the second pair...annika decided on the first one. the perfect summer choice actually. love her pants by the way!

ich bin mal wieder ausführlich auf der homepage von zara rumgesurft und ganz ehrlich: man findet halt schon immer tolle sachen. diese hosen zum beispiel! sie entsprechen genau dem modernen schnitt. weg von der röhre und back to the 70s. und dann erst noch pastellfarbig.
